LLI-447 “Explore Balts”

Today, on 31 May 2023, is the last day of the project “Explore Balts”.

The project lasted for 2,5 years and, during its implementation, many exciting activities have been carried out aiming to promote the cultural route “Balts’ road” by facilitating its further development, raising awareness and recognition:

  • several master classes on ancient crafts (processing of flint, bronze, amber, natural fibers, archery, ancient food etc.);
  • conference “Cultural routes in Latvia and Lithuania”;
  • training of guides for the Balts’ road route;
  • travel action;
  • large-size photo exhibition;
  • three tourism guides: “Curonians and Samogitians”, “Semigallians” and “Selonians”;
  • event “Balts’ Unity Day”;
  • exhibition on Curonian hisotry and culture at Kuldīga County Museum.
