LLI-468 I can work

Over the week from 5 to 9 September 2022 people with disabilities from Kurzeme and Lithuania met in Mazirbe for a joint summer camp. The main aim of the camp was to spend quality time together, socialise, exchange experience, improve communication and cooperations skills, as well as acquire some new skills. Participants jointly took part in various creative workshops, had different sporting activities, did some learning and, of course, made good friendships!

Over the first three camp days we played music with various musical instruments, decoupaged dished during art activities, created various works of art, baked pizzas and played sports and board games.

Third day’s evening ended with a very exciting circus art performance presented by a camp participant Lilija and her sons!

And over the last two days we took part at Canis therapy classes, made scrubs with essential oils and organised our own fashion show!

In the closing circle on the last day of the camp, all participants shared their warm feelings of the time spent together over these 5 days, expressed nice wishes to each other, received diplomas and gave small, but yet truly heartful gifts to each other.

Project activities are being implemented with the support of the Interreg V-A Latvia-Lithuania Programme 2014-2020.
